All parents are urged to become active members of our P & C. Apart from the traditional fund raising ventures and other projects to provide improvements and highly desirable extras, P & C's provide a forum to discuss what is happening and to decide future directions for the school.
A small school like St Helens needs as close to 100 percent involvement by parents in P & C activities as it is possible to get. It is only with this level of support that the P & C can achieve its goals without relying on the efforts of 2 or 3 people.
Traditionally P & C's at small schools (and at St Helens) have received the wholehearted support of most members. This is one tradition we are keen to see maintained. General Meetings are held at 7.30 p.m. every month on dates advertised in the school Newsletter, usually the fourth Tuesday of each month. The Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 21st February 2006.
